Forum attendance is high. It was visited by more than 10 thousand people. There has never been such a wide audience of scientists, participants and listeners of the forum in the world! These are new conditions. This is a new situation. The forum has become, in essence, a hint for other international forums in the world. At the same time, it must be recognized that many organizers of scientific international forums (for example, forums in the United States) , which were previously planned, refused to hold them, due to the pandemic. As a result, many of the declared participants suffered due to this decision, and even suffered financially! The Institute of psychology and education of KFU did not take this step and supported all participants of its forum. And the international forum on teacher education in 2020 was held!
I would like to mention the scientific reports of the RAO academician, Professor Olga Kukushkina, dedicated to the problem of speech development of deaf and unable to speak children with implanted hearing chips. A special activity called a round table to my colleagues, the clinical psychologist Anna Akhmejanova. Its round table was attended by 624 participants, including 182 people from abroad.
Thus, in 2020, the international forum on teacher education reached a higher level of efficiency and became a global laboratory for solving problems of teacher education.
As already noted, the forum is organized by the Institute of psychology and education of Kazan Federal University (KFU). Kazan Federal University was among the universities , which effectively organized the distance learning process. It must be recognized that only 20 percent of Russian universities managed to make the transition to distance education caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
