The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan held a round table on psychosocial support for victims of the shooting at gymnasium No. 175, in which I also had to participate.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the public organization "Russian Red Cross".The round table was also attended by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilsur Khadiullin, who noted that more than 600 children had a rest in a camp on the Black Sea, 236 people restored their health in sanatoriums of Tatarstan, about 30 children visited the camps of the republic. The children from the 8th grade together with their siblings went to Artek." In the shortest possible time, internal and external repairs of the building were carried out, and a swimming pool appeared on the territory of the gymnasium.
The organization "Russian Red Cross" collected 86 million rubles to help the victims. Many people took part in the fundraising, as the tragedy that occurred in Kazan "united not only the republic, but also the whole country.
Then, the chief expert-psychologist of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tatarstan Irina Lushpaeva told about the prolonged post-crisis support of students.
In general, psychosocial support consisted of the following stages:
1. Help in emotional response. Help for the family. Individual tracking trajectory
2. Mediation between social, medical and legal structures.
3. Training in self-help skills.
Representatives of the Russian Red Cross, with the participation of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, have launched a program of psychosocial support. At the round table, it was noted that interdepartmental cooperation should be a priority when solving psychological assistance to victims of the tragedy. In particular, the Russian Red Cross requested that students of a psychological profile who are studying at the Institute of Psychology and Education of KFU be involved in volunteer activities in this direction. As a representative of the KFU, representatives of the Russian Red Cross made a proposal to me that this activity should become a practical component of the educational process of students of a psychological profile.
My speech at the round table was devoted to the help that can be provided by me as the head of the psychological center. I have already taken part in psychological assistance to relatives of victims after the tragedy with the ship "Bulgaria" . I conducted a comparative analysis of how this assistance was provided after the tragedy with the ship and the tragedy in the 175 gymnasium. The problem of destructive application was of particular interest at the round table during my speech
psychopharmacological assistance to victims. It was noted that the main positive result in providing assistance to victims was associated with the work of psychologists, not psychiatrists.
