I continue to deeply study the opinions of published experts about the moratorium on expanding the introduction of artificial intelligence in the world. I come to the conclusion that these opinions are not convincing, not logical, not sufficiently substantiated. They have a high proportion of disturbing phantasmagoria. This opinion about the moratorium is designed for ordinary people who do not understand the basics of cognitive sciences. Moreover, these published experts, based on the analysis of their scientific vocabulary and logic, also show a shallow knowledge of cognitive sciences and those powerful limitations that take place in artificial intelligence and in its ability to compete with the living psyche. The fact that artificial intelligence beat a person in chess does not mean anything. Unpredictable intuitive and creative processes and solutions that will not be available to artificial intelligence will always be present in a person. The principles of the brain and artificial intelligence have a powerful gap between them. I say this as a specialist who has been engaged in cognitive psychology for a long time. Back in 2005, I developed a new approach to cognitive science - nanopsychology. I have scientific publications on this subject and have spoken at international congresses.
I read these published experts. And I understand more and more that this project has some other ulterior motives.
Here, for example, is an idea from Ilya Sutskever, Director of Research at OpenAI, who now directly directs the content and scientific aspect of the creation of GPT5 :
"What does it mean to predict the next token well enough? This means that you understand the reality that led to the creation of this token" (interview with Dwarkesh Patel, March 27).
It would seem that this means that there are already large language models – it's not just language statistics at all, it's a model of the real world that is reflected in these statistics! It would seem! This is an extremely important distinction that "roots", "embodies" linguistic artificial intelligence in the real world with its physics, physicality, desires, emotions, passions, etc. It would seem that one can recall Pavlov – through the second signal system you can influence the real world, although evolutionarily it originally appeared only as a superstructure over the first the alarm system. It would seem that everything is as serious as possible and large GPT5-class language models will have the potential to control the real world in the same way as the second human signaling system affects the real world. It would seem! These are the experts! Of course, all these are emotionogenic phantasmagoria. So far, these are naked declarations. At least because there is already a lot of humor and consequences from these neural networks. They are often inadequate and let customers down.
In essence, there is a calculation that many ordinary people of the world do not understand deeply cognitive sciences and the limitations that artificial intelligence has. Fears of the development of artificial intelligence are exaggerated. There are more pressing world problems.
Reputable and leading experts in cognitive sciences have always been on the right track. But now, when this adventure spreads in the media, for some reason they remain silent. Previously, they always had a theme of criticism and limitations of artificial intelligence. And suddenly their rhetoric has changed a lot. Or did they start ignoring it all? Why?
And so, in general, according to the projects of postmodern philosophy, Language is a monster that is able to study Us, not Us! Language is an iconic living tissue capable of creating grounds for influence on us by itself, through its internal laws of signs! This problem was also posed by the Soviet psychologist Vygotsky in The Psychology of Art, who studied the mechanisms of the influence of signs as such without reference to the psychic. But all this still does not give a reason to engage in a moratorium on artificial intelligence.
It is necessary to learn cognitive science. The science of how knowledge is possible. How it is formed in artificial systems. How are these systems trained? There are limitations there. Now there is a lot of philistine dilettantism around neural networks. Mental is not only a product of neural networks. Phantasmagoria began around all this. It is possible that there is a share of disturbing phantasmagoria in these fears. But what is the share?
Cognitive science leaders have always been on the right track. Their criticism and reflections on the limitations and secondary nature of artificial intelligence to the human psyche are relevant now.
My analysis showed that despite the fact that specialists in the field of cognitive sciences have powerful rational and logical thinking, they also have a powerful emotional decision associated with the temporary influence of the read. Then this emotional component will come to naught for them. Watch as the adventure stage settles down. After all, the adventure related to the world quarantine, with which Bill Gates earned fabulous profits, has subsided! And now Bill Gates supports this adventure!
Of course, Russia will not reduce projects for the development of artificial neural networks and intelligence. The problem is that we are secondary here. And now, thanks to this advertised moratorium, Russia will be restricted in the use of components that would allow us to solve the problem of homegrown artificial intelligence. It is understandable, the international political alignment of forces is as follows! Russia is in the conditions of international bullying.
Thus, the project of introducing a moratorium on the development of artificial intelligence in the world is most likely a consequence of the Hegemon's sanctions project against Russia, as well as the emerging foreign policy behavior of China. China has succeeded in the field of artificial intelligence. A new political world order must take place, including because the Hegemon will lose in the field of artificial intelligence. This is what the Hegemon fears.
And only then there are factors related to the fact that the world entertainer and pyramid builder Elon Musk wanted to economically fuck up various countries of the world with the help of artificial intelligence applications. Because of the new situation in the world, this project of Mask failed. Musk's old motives on the neural network have disappeared
All the influence of the media and publications about this moratorium on artificial intelligence should be taken out of brackets! Artificial intelligence needs to be implemented and not listen to the adventures of all sorts of puppets of the Hegemon, starting with Elon Musk and ending with Bill Gates. The hidden motives of these puppets must be studied!
The scientist from the USA Eliezer Yudkovsky called to stop testing artificial intelligence (AI) because of its danger to all mankind. He wrote about this in an article for Time.
He noted that businessmen Elon Musk and Steve Wozniak, who called earlier to suspend the training of neural networks for at least six months, seriously underestimate the situation. "Many researchers immersed in these questions, including myself, expect that the most likely result of creating a superhumanly intelligent AI under any circumstances remotely resembling the current ones will be that literally everyone on Earth will die," the article says.
Earlier, Musk and Wozniak, in their letter calling for the "immediate suspension" of the training of artificial intelligence systems, noted that this must be done in order to understand that such systems are really safe. They also asked questions about how to properly implement AI in all spheres of life.
Here are my assumptions on this score:
1. Most likely, the concerns are related to the disruption of the Hegemon's plans with the help of more advanced artificial neural networks, thanks to successful economic forecasts, to win the economic war. Make the right bets!
For example, predicting stock prices based on last week's quotes may or may not be successful, whereas predicting the results of tomorrow's lottery based on data from the last 50 years will almost certainly not yield any results.
2. This is apparently an unsuccessful project of Musk. Musk wanted to globally use neural networks to fuck up the economy of various economic entities. Place bets based on the prompts of neural networks or AI. But this was prevented by the new world economic situation and the alignment of world political and economic forces.
In fact, the Mask project is being closed, which was supposed to be implemented in conditions when there was no tension and unpredictability that have arisen now.
3. This is the reason for all these bluff calls by Elon Musk about curtailing the development of artificial intelligence. In the new situation, the tasks and goals have changed. I wrote about all this back in the spring. And I assumed that many of Elon Musk's technological projects would be covered with a copper basin, since the economic opportunity to build all sorts of pyramids by selling emptiness disappeared. The pendulum of the global economic alignment has swung in the other direction. Now is not the time for betting, and not for games!
4. Most likely, E. Yudkovsky is a puppet played by Elon Musk. This is a commissioned interview. And there will be many more such interviews within the framework of the Elon Musk project and games.
