American billionaire Elon Musk announced that he plans to integrate the capabilities of artificial intelligence (AI) from xAI into the social network X (formerly Twitter). The businessman is also going to release a separate xAI application without access to the social network, Kommersant reports.
Musk founded the AI development company xAI in July 2023. On November 3, the Grok chatbot developed by xAI became available to selected users. Musk stated that the goal of the new AI is "to understand the true nature of the universe." Grok will not answer sensitive questions, but likes sarcasm.
The neural network gets access to information in the social network X in real time, which, according to the developers, is a plus compared to other AI.
Here are my thoughts on this.
1. The leading position of the United States in the world information war has been greatly shaken. This project of the world's main "spider", associated with the immersion of a social network (in fact, ordinary people) into the web of a neural network, will become a powerful tool of the world information war and manipulation.
2. Artificial intelligence is crude primitive artificial intelligence that is far from human intelligence. And this primitive puppet web of the "spider" Mask will be edited by American programmers in the right direction for the United States, similar to Wikipedia, which China refused.
3. It must be remembered that artificial intelligence is still only a zone of near-scientific show-offs, scientific speculation, adventures and money laundering.
4. It is necessary to recognize that artificial intelligence, despite its usefulness in various fields, unfortunately, increases the degradation processes in the educational system and lowers the conditions for true scientific creativity of young people. The processes of implementing artificial intelligence need to be regulated somehow in this regard.
