Recently, I conducted a study on the impact of social video networks on the global public.
Here are just some conclusions :
1. The inhabitants of the world are gradually turning into artists performing from their own channels.
2. The inhabitants of the world do not find a deep interlocutor in the world and replace it with video confessions and video conversations.
3. The inhabitants of the world have become observers of other inhabitants. This has never happened in the history of mankind. The people of the world have grown accustomed to the monitors lying in the palm of their hands. This has to end with something!
4. Among these philistines there is a caste that pays for its promotion and promotion of its video channels, but this does not allow them to stop being philistines. Although this caste thinks of itself as stars of different levels.
5. The only exceptions on social video networks are speakers who enlighten ordinary people in fundamental sciences and primary current events without any speculation. Alas! Basically, social video networks are overflowing with the garbage of such "life experts" and those who report on how he psychologically defecates all over the world.
6. The world has entered into destructive passive observation with the help of social video networks. This is a kind of phenomenon of "horror outside the blanket" (referring to my article "Horror outside the blanket"), they say, horror is on the screen, but I feel good under the blanket. The era of passive observation and malevolent aesthetics is flourishing (see R. R. Garifullin, The Concept of Russian Psychological Security, 2001).
7. The need for social psychotherapy to address the above points is brewing.
